AI-powered accessibility tools can benefit all users, not just those with disabilities. These applications demonstrate how technology can remove barriers and enhance learning experiences for everyone. Remember: Technology should adapt to people, not the other way around. Finding the right tools for you is part of creating your personal path to success at Towson University. That’s why we encourage everyone to experiment with these applications to find what works best for your living, learning, and working preferences!
While these apps are available to everyone, Towson University students with disabilities can access even more powerful assistive technologies through Accessibility & Disability Services (ADS). The ADS office serves approximately 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities who have registered with the office and been approved for accommodations. That's 16% of TU's student population! ADS staff engage in an interactive process with students and reviews each request for accommodations on an individualized, case-by-case basis.
