The Tutoring & Learning Center is a full-service learning center for Towson University students. Located on the fifth floor of the Cook Library, we assist students in achieving their academic goals. Our mission is to facilitate a community of learners by coordinating high quality tutoring, peer-assisted learning sessions, academic coaching, study groups, study skills workshops and facilitating reading placement testing.

Are You or a Friend in Crisis?
The Counseling Center is available during regular hours to help students with an emergency or crisis, using the resources below. When the Counseling Center is closed, you still have access to emotional help if you need it.

Reserve a Group Study Room @ Cook

Second Floor Group Study Rooms
The Cook Libraries offers presentation practice rooms for small groups to reserve.
When not reserved or occupied, group study rooms are open on first-come, first-served basis.
Rooms must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance
Rooms can be reserved for up to 4 hours per day.

The Division of Student Affairs offers the Student LIFE Line, a telephone line to assist students with any question they may have about the university. LIFE Line is staffed and ready to assist callers Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. After these hours, a voice mail message can be left and will be responded to the next business day.
