You may want to find a book about your city. You can do this by searching tools like Cook OneSearch, or the TU Library Catalog.

You will get the best results if you can find books with your city listed as a subject tag, along with keywords for other general topics or information you are looking for. For example, you could search for:

[Baltimore] (with matches in the Subject field)

AND

["community development"]

This would find books about Baltimore which also mention community development. You might also need to limit the results to just book resources, and exclude other results like articles. Here's what your search boxes might look like:
