VR, AR, MR, XR: What is the difference?

The case discusses a Mixed Reality headset, but since this involves a combination of approaches and technologies. You may want to experiment with what you search, including:

  • Mixed reality
  • Augmented reality
  • Virtual reality or VR
  • Extended reality or XR

MR and AR may not always make a great search -- the combination of letters is pretty common in other contexts
