The AAF: Utilizes industry expertise to address community issues

AEJMC members have a mandate to serve society beyond our teaching and research. We offer services related to our appropriate professional fields, particularly activities that enhance understanding among media educators, professionals, and the general public. We assist AEJMC, other media organizations, and media practitioners.

Our Vision: An advocate for the field of theatre and performance in higher education, ATHE serves as an intellectual and artistic center for producing new knowledge about theatre and performance-related disciplines, cultivating vital alliances with other scholarly and creative disciplines, linking with professional and community-based theatres, and promoting access and equity.

BEA serves as a forum for exposition, analysis and debate of issues of social importance to develop members’ awareness and sensitivity to these issues and to their ramifications, which will ultimately help students develop as more thoughtful practitioners.

To realize this vision College Art Association will: 1. Represent, promote, and advocate for the visual arts nationally and internationally;

Mission: The National Art Education Association (NAEA) advances visual arts education to fulfill human potential and promote global understanding.

NCA promotes the widespread appreciation of the importance of communication in public and private life, the application of competent communication to improve the quality of human life and relationships, and the use of knowledge about communication to solve human problems.

Support the development of critical media skills amongst audiences and the expansion of media literacy;

The International Communication Association aims to advance the scholarly study of human communication by encouraging and facilitating excellence in academic research worldwide. The purposes of the Association are (4) to promote a wider public interest in, and visibility of, the theories, methods, findings and applications generated by research in communication and allied fields.

Purpose: to conduct programs and activities to build a vital musical culture and an enlightened musical public for the benefit and the general welfare of all persons

The National Association of Broadcasters is the voice for the nation's radio and television broadcasters. As the premier trade association for broadcasters, NAB advances the interests of our members in federal government, industry and public affairs; improves the quality and profitability of broadcasting; encourages content and technology innovation; and spotlights the important and unique ways stations serve their communities.

Vision: The National Dance Education Organization envisions a nation that affords every citizen equal access and opportunity to quality dance arts education regardless of gender, age, race or culture, socio-economic status, ability or interest.

Core Principle: Public relations professionals work constantly to strengthen the public’s trust in the profession.

The purpose shall be to promote art in higher education through facilitating cooperation among teachers and administrators in universities, colleges and junior colleges, professional art schools, and museums, who are concerned with the development of art in their respective institutions and communities served by their institutions.

SCMS seeks to further media study within higher education and the wider cultural sphere, and to serve as a resource for scholars, teachers, administrators, and the public.

The University Film and Video Foundation (UFVF) is a not-for-profit corporation that engages in and promotes worldwide education, research, innovation, and charitable activities in the arts and sciences of moving images and aural communication.
