Using This Guide

You can proceed through the steps in this guide use the steps independently as an informational guide. Each step has a corresponding optional exercise. Additionally, the worksheets will help you move through each step while keeping notes.

Step One

First, it's important to understand the premise of Evidence-Based Practice and why it's so important for decision-making in the health professions.

Steps Two - Five

Next, click on the buttons below or navigate through Assess, Brainstorm, Choose, Document, Evaluate to conduct an efficient search for evidence.

Use the supplemental worksheets (MS Word or PDF formats) and/or fill out the questionnaire at the end of each page to capture the process and keep notes on your topic.
