In This Guide

This guide is intended as a starting point for research in this sport management class. Many students are looking for scholarship and original research published in law and other academic journals related to particular legal and ethical issues in sport. This may also include sociologic or cultural aspects of these issues. The databases below are a good place to start.

If you have questions about any of the resources listed in this guide, don't hesitate to contact the subject library liaison for Kinesiology.

Multi-database search

Consider searching a combination of the Academic Search Ultimate, Business Source Complete, and SPORTDiscus databases using the Choose Databases link once in any one of the them. Select the Peer Reviewed limiter and possibly the Publication Date to refine your search.

If you want to increase the number of results, select the Advanced Search link and the expanders to search within the full text of articles and apply equivalent subjects.Check the limiters on the results page if you do this. You might need to reapply the peer reviewed and publication date limits.
