Basic Needs Support

Foodshare: Over 30 percent of college students lack reliable access to nutritious food. The Foodshare provides 10 free food and toiletry items per week to TU community members.

Basic Needs by Zip Code: Need help locating support off campus? Start by reviewing the options available in your neighborhood.

Student Emergency Fund: Are you dealing with a financial emergency? Review the eligibility of the Student Emergency Fund to see if you qualify.

Emergency Housing: If you are experiencing homelessness, review the local options for emergency shelters and schedule an appointment with Student Affairs to discuss the additional support that may be available to you.

Financial Needs Support

Financial Literacy: Interested in taking control of your finances? Towson University provides free access to WhichWay, an interactive tool that teaches the basics of financial literacy. Simply enter the code 8607 and add your TU email.

Financial Aid: Did you know that each TU student is assigned a financial aid adviser? Reach out today to discuss what options might be available to you.

Career Center: Need help finding sustainable on- and off-campus employment? Not sure where to start? The Career Center is here to guide you.

Physical & Mental Wellness

Health Center: Are you experiencing health concerns? The Health Center offers a full array of health services to TU students.

Counseling Center: The Counseling Center offers same day in-person or virtual appointments with 24/7 access to mental health professionals and a crisis line even on holidays and weekends.

Campus Recreation: Utilize our state-of-the-art facilities and programs that promote active and healthy lifestyles.

Togetherall: Would you prefer to speak with other students experiencing similar mental health struggles? Do so comfortably and easily under the guidance of a trained clinician through the Togetherall platform.

Kognito: Are you interested in learning more about how you can recognize and support the signs of distress in your peers? Take part in a brief and interactive Kognito training. Create an account and use “towsonstudent” as the enrollment key to launch the training.

Temporary Accommodations: Have you experienced an injury or illness that requires the support of temporary accommodations? Contact Accessibility & Disability Services to see if you qualify.

Pregnancy: If you are expecting a child, you are eligible for specific accommodations and support. Contact the Office of Institutional Inclusion and Equity for information.
