Cite to give your audience an understanding of the sources you used in the process of arriving at your recommendations, and to allow them to dig deeper on their own. High-quality sources will increase your audience's trust in your proposals.
In addition to in-slide citations and reference lists, you may include oral citations during your presentations to point to the sources of your information. For oral citations to business information, a note of the publication/site is usually more salient than a reference to the author.
